The KinematicSpeed Story

Founded in early 2018 and officially launched in 2019, KinematicSpeed was built on a few basic concepts shared between a few mechanical design gurus and enthusiasts. These concepts were:

  • The belief that performance aftermarket parts can utilize the same advanced manufacturing techniques and levels of quality of original equipment.
  • The intent to bring unconstrained innovation to various segments of the aftermarket industry and the resolve to bear the risk to change this.
  • The commitment to improving delivery expectations for the performance industry resetting customer expectations.

Having spent our weekdays as research and development engineers for vehicle and machine design for the past decade and our weeknights and weekends putting those same skills to work to make our own cars faster, more reliable, and all around more fun to drive on the track and the street, it was a natural fit. We parked our race cars, track cars, and projects (well not entirely, we all know how strong that itch is) and put our heads together to determine a direction that aligned with these founding concepts, our skills, and our passions. Having built and raced everything from BMWs, Porsches, and Corvettes, to Miatas and Nissan Z-cars we set our sites on performance parts and systems for the premium sportscar enthusiast while utilizing our industry knowledge and relationships to deliver this performance with cutting edge construction methods typically found only in the OEM realm.

Based in Race City, Charlotte, North Carolina, we're rooted in the best soil for success in this industry. We do all research and development in house here in Charlotte as well as assembly, warehousing, pack and ship, customer service, and quality assurance to ensure our customers have an exceptional experience with our products from order to unboxing, installation, and use.

For the future we envision incrementally pushing the envelope of innovation and manufacturing as we grow our product line through a continued commitment to collaboration with our customer base because at the end of the day, we're road racers, track day nuts, autocrossers, and sports car enthusiasts just like you.
